A sticky rice ball covered with homemade semi-sweet red beans paste.

 

With various coatings, sesame seeds, maccha & roasted almond.

My mum prepare -botamochi- in spring and autumn during -ohigan- in Japan, which is a traditional and seasonal event food. We offer them and cerebrate to the god (Buddha).
